Where Heritage Meets Home
Casa Aseana was founded with a clear vision: to bring the beauty, meaning, and artistry of Southeast Asian heritage into modern homes through refined, contemporary living. The brand was born from a belief that cultural craftsmanship should not be confined to museums, ceremonies, or memory alone. It should live on the dining table, in shared memories, and in the everyday spaces where people gather, celebrate, and create meaning.
The market told us something clear: the people who most wanted to live surrounded by objects from their own heritage — urban professionals, diaspora communities, culturally-minded collectors — had nowhere to turn. Mass-market homeware carried no story. Luxury imports carried no Southeast Asian soul. Traditional pieces felt like relics. We built Casa Aseana to close that gap.
We begin where our heritage is deepest: Malaysia. The royal songket weaving traditions of Terengganu and Kelantan. The batik arts of the Peninsula. The geometric motifs that have adorned ceremonial dress, royal gifts, and family heirlooms for five centuries.
Our first collection — The Royal Songket Collection — translates this heritage onto porcelain with gold detailing. Not as a copy of songket. As an honouring of it. Giving a five-century tradition a new setting: one that moves between morning tea and formal hosting, between a personal home and a corporate gift.
