Teapot Set

A teapot for the host who keeps the pot warm, with its own sugar bowl and creamer.

Every Raya, the same teapot came out of the glass cabinet, and family and friends gathered around it, the bonds every Malaysian household is built on.

At its centre is the pucuk rebung, the bamboo-shoot motif of songket and a symbol of life, traced in gold on fine porcelain beside the bunga raya. Given as a gift, it carries those gatherings into a new home, for the next generation.
