The story
Lapis pelangi, peeled apart one bright layer at a time, the way we all did as children. One more kuih, taken quietly before the guests arrive.
Two 19 cm dessert plates carrying the bunga raya and the pucuk rebung, a symbol of life, with gold detailing that glints as the plates go round. Sized for something sweet, and for sharing it. Boxed as a pair, so the kuih shared today becomes someone’s memory tomorrow.

Living with it
For Raya open houses, afternoon tea and the plate of kuih passed around the table. Pair them with a pair of teacups and saucers for a gift for two.
A gift for two
Each set comes as a pair: two 19 cm dessert plates. A pair makes a gracious gift for two: newlyweds, a couple celebrating an anniversary, or two friends who never say no to kuih. Pair them with a Teacup & Saucer Set for an afternoon tea for two, all in matching gold detailing.
Every piece is packed and padded securely in its own fitted place inside the gift box, so it arrives just as it left us. Each box also holds a small sachet of silica gel. It absorbs moisture inside the closed box, keeping the porcelain, the gold detailing and the box itself dry and fresh while it travels and while it is stored, which matters in our humid climate. The sachet is not edible: once the gift is unpacked, please remove it and throw it away, out of reach of children and pets.
Hand wash only, with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. The gold detailing is fired onto the finished glaze, so keep it out of the dishwasher, microwave and oven, and avoid abrasive scourers and bleach. Store with care so the pieces do not knock together. See our Care Guide.
